Nevertheless, possibility of success can be very high if your investment policy is adequate and a team of highly qualified professionals is working to capitalize your money. Think of our job as a daily inspection of every move that occurs in the market and an uninterrupted effort to make our clients earn money. And we have been doing this for over 40 years. Sounds like a solid guarantee, does it not?
If I hire family office…Do I lose control of my money?
The answer is no. You are at all times in absolute control of your money. In actual fact, money does not go into the hands of ACTIVE COMPASS at any moment. We advise and we help you to increase your assets, although ultimately you always have the last word.
Why should I be paying for the services of an independent advisor?
There are many reasons for this, primarily due to the fact that an independent advisor will always side with the client, with him at all times defending mutual objectives. He deals with asset management with professionalism and control, helping to organize and optimize performance. Furthermore, he acts as a counsellor that will always defend client’s interests, avoiding conflicts of interest due to his not having an own product and therefore maintaining a completely transparent commission structure. On the other hand, he also helps to negotiate with financial institutions committees with whom the client works to ensure the highest value for money.
Do I have to open an account with ACTIVE COMPASS?
The answer is no. Our services rely purely on consultancy/advisory tasks.
Our clients establish a relationship with their banks, savings banks or investment agencies where they have their deposits. The client will always ultimately determine what recommended proposal is to be undertaken and will always give the order to execute.
Independent financial advice; Is this a regulated product? What degree of safety and assurance does it provide?
The figure of the independent advisor has existed in the UK for over 3 decades making up for over 80% of private and family savings at present.
In Spain it has been regulated since 2008 through a Royal Decree that deals with the figure of the IFAC.
The total separation between these activities up against other models is absolutely crucial.
The differentiating factor of ACTIVE COMPASS is that we offer a work model that is based upon knowing your client and establishing a trustworthy relationship, full dedication, experience and quality service as well as total independence in counselling based on a transparent retribution policy.
Do you need a consultant or an advisor?
We usually use both terms indifferently when in actual fact there are subtle nuances that clearly differentiate each denomination. An advisor analyses and diagnoses your current financial situation and can forecast your future if no important changes occur. On the other hand, a consultant understands these tasks and then has further skills to create new opportunities and strategies linked to specific objectives. He creates new scenarios for the client’s assets.
What is a family office?
Family offices are financial advisories that provide integral management of great estates and subsidiary issues (financial, real estate or business), overall asset planning and asset management and administration…etc. They look after family estates and aspects related to the family in general, such as inheritance issues or sale of family assets. The primary objective is to maintain or increase the family estate between generations. Family office can be defined as an investment platform through which the totality of great estates is managed: financial, real estate and business investments, taxation, inheritance and overall planning, etc. They are in charge of managing the estate of one only family name with high assets.
What is an IFAC?
